On Friday, April 17, a meeting of the Just Energy Transition Working Groups #JETIP was held at the premises of the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources.
The Working Groups on Renewable Energy Sources and Storage Capacities, Economic Diversification, and Retraining and Training discussed progress in planning and implementing projects that support the Just Energy Transition of North Macedonia. One of the main points of the meeting was the review of the Annual Just Transition Implementation Plan for 2026 – a document that operationalizes strategic goals into specific activities, timeframes and responsibilities for 2026.
North Macedonia is committed to greening the economy and deploying 1.7 GW of renewable energy by 2030 with an established platform that is one of the key mechanisms for achieving that vision.
